Gotcha! (A big cat is still a cat...), Acrylics, 24" x 36"

I'm finally done! It seems like it took me a long time to work on this piece. My first "big" piece (2 feet by 3 feet).

I hesitated to work more on the fur, but then decided that it gives it more movement that way (and I was afraid to get it too stiff and overworked).

I love cougars! I love how graphic their faces are and how their physique is sleek and graceful. However... they're still cats! It's hard to resist a swinging tail, even if you're a majestic beast!

Love it! A great show of cat behaviour. Great work on the fur and the tree bark especially.

Lovely painting, the tree bark is really well done. It's lovely to see the lighter side of these beautiful animals.

Love it! Now I see the next painting showing the first cat turning around and batting the other cat right between the eyes. :)

This made me smile. Such cats, at any size. Great work on this piece. :)
