That is super Christel!
Values are very good :), I would try to blur a bit the sharp fur to the right of the head to give a depth perspective, and accentuate the wiskers over it too. :)

Excellent! Just some small details (but they will enhance your image ;) ), recheck the whisker's length, They should be similar in the right than in the left, of course according the position of the head, but the are a tad short. Also try to curve them as you did in the other side. Once you make them white, with a 2H re tone the borders and make them look thinner and you'll get a 3D effect due to the cast shadow.
The second detail, is to layer one or two times the eyes using a hard Graphite, such as the 2H, gives depth the more layers you use (Do not layer the highlights). Use the same directions as your already done marks, very softly, do not press and damage the paper tooth :) Make a bit more evident highlights in the eye and nose to show they are wet. And Finally darken the nostril and pupils (remember , they a re perfectly round).

http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/03-May-2017/1256189-DSC_4458s.jpg Thanks for your patience, Fedetony. I added pen for the black as my 8B doesn't quite make it. I also added white ac for the highlights.

Thanks Sheila and Jon. Actually the original photo the lioness has a number of flies around the muzzle area indicating she had a feast just beforehand. So she'd be quite content.
