Hi I haven't posted for a while but recently completed this little fellow.
9" x 12" scratchboard & ink. The reference used was from "Wildlife Reference Photos for Artists.
As per usual I got light in my photograph, I never seem to be in the right place at the right time-- like outside on a dull day!!http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/01-May-2017/1085632-Look_to_the_light_sml.jpg

Barbra, this was well worth waiting for. It is stunningly good . I love Meerkats. Their social behaviour has always intrigued me. Wonderful colours .

Thank you all for your kind words. I think as time is against me I will have to concentrate on smaller images like this.

Thank you Ellis. I use Ampersand boards and Ampersand ink. I haven't tried any others as I am always happy with these, and though few colours available, I can always mix what I need/want.
