Supermarine S6 flown by H R D Waghorn wins at 328.63 mph
Italy represented by Macchi MR52R Flown by T Dal Molin
The liner in the background is RMS Berengaria heading for Southampton.846234

For the most part I like this Jim. The one comment would be that the Supermarine needs much stronger colour. It should be the focus here, but the strong colours in the pylon and the Macchi pull the eye much more.

This was actually painted as a marine subject, having come across some old photos of redundant WW1 Destroyers. Most the other Schneider Trophy paintings I have seen concentrate on the aircraft. As usual I prefer the story. There is so much more going on than the usual airborne three quarter view of an S6 with speed streaks.
My personal comment is as usual, it's too blue, but it would be painted differently now.
