View Full Version : WDE 8 April The Jazz singer

I selected a few but the Jazz singer appealed to me most. I videoed doing it as as per e.p.'s sort of request. It is the first time I have done this so the quality is not great and you see more of my arm than the painting but it shows how I work. The camera stopped before me so there is another few minutes before I finished that did not get filmed. The upload to You Tube is taking hours so I will add the link later if it works.

It is acrylic on canvas measuring 8 x 12 inches and took about 30 minutes

Thanks for looking
All C and c welcome

Really nice. A very convincing figure with the immediacy of a live performance. I look forward to viewing your vid.

Turn off the sound, I thought I would talk you through what I was doing but that did not last.I am not a talker and I am definitely not a singer but I always paint to music. I will delete this at the end of the week I think as it is for your eyes only.
Note to self: brush hair and do not wear painting rags if I ever do this again.

Interesting to see your methods in the vid, Christine. I must admit I did not register the unbrushed hair or paint rags! You just looked the part. Thanks for posting.

You have captured the spirit of the moment very well, and I enjoyed your video! (And I always wonder about artist videos where the artist is all dressed up; the paint-spattered artists look more authentic)

Cool! :) A pity you removed the video
