Those are excellent! I especially like the baby hugging its mom. So cute!

That's beautiful. I like them all, but the first one a bit more. It's so peaceful.

These are all very nice Christel. The second one has attitude. Must be a young male learning to strut his stuff. :)

I love elephants and yours are beautifully drawn Christel. It has been a joy watching your progress over the past few years. You are just getting better and better.

These are beautiful, Christel. You've gotten such gesture in each piece. I like the second one...that little head tipped up so proudly. It makes me smile. Great work!

These are all so good! There is a different feel to each of these. The third one is cute and makes me smile. The second one has attitude and the first one I just love for the sense of place. :)

They all have such great personality! Each one has something to say. My personal favorite was the first one I like the dark tones and I also like that the trees tower over the elephant. So even big elephants still have to look up!

Thanks Kay, Fana and Dianna.
I'm busy with another drawing of an elephant close up. I was wondering which was more difficult to draw, trees or elephant face.

Christel - These are all great drawings - lots of tonal values used which make for really interesting drawings!
I like the first one best, but they are all very good drawings.
I don't think the baby elephant is hugging his mum, I think he's having fun and playing at pushing her, while mum tolerantly ignores him!
