View Full Version : WDE March 31 Kizzie and older dog

I labeled the photo Gizzi -close , but not right! Kizzie looks like she was a sweetie and I have only this start of her: 8X10" in acrylics ( I like Goldens) on canvasboard - (It's called "Yes" and accepts many types of media dry and wet).
Anyway, here is not much - sans Gladys the chicken (Oh, that's how I came up with Gizzi!)
and a dog named Blue still in progress - need to restate the darks and find his likeness again.
Off to see yours!

Good job on both the dogs.

Good start on Kiz. Fun blue dog with one ear to the side. I know a Samoyed who, when he's comfortable around you, holds his left ear up and his right ear horizontal, like in your painting :)

Blue in particular is so good, those eyes bring him to life.

Good start on both. I like the energetic way you've painted their fur, and you're definitely capturing both of their canine expressions. Blue's eyes are terrific. I like Golden acrylics too. I don't think I've heard of Yes. Something to look into.

...well done on both. Great start on my sweet Kizz, it already has captured the 'feel' of her. Looking forward to seeing the finish...😊👍🏼

Thank you so much for your kind words!
I am slow and not done with either painting so I apologize for posting late.
