Hello All!
Long time since I posted...
Now I have a question: I ALWAYS struggle with my backgrounds (doing animal portraits), so I decided to give PanPastels a go (since my local art store had some on sale:lol:). Do they work well on velour paper?- because I love velour for painting fur.
What are your expierences (sp??) Any tips?
And yes, I have sanded papers as well, but..... I LOVE the velour....
Thank you!
Greetings, Veronika

I hva used velour a bit, but never with the Pans. It looks like that is not a combination that gets much use!

Hopefully, you can try it out and let us know the answer!

No, they do not.

Velour is too "grabby" for Pans. You would spend all your time loading your applicators only to get a smudge onto the velour and then have to load again.

Some of the advantages of Pans just cannot be realized on velour.

I bought a sampler pack of several different papers awhile back. It had a couple pieces of velour in it. Naturally I had to try my beloved Pans on them, but it was a very frustrating experience.

Hope that helps!
