Hello everyone!

I've been admiring all your work - so many wonderful masterpieces! I hope you don't mind me sharing my latest pastel in the hope that it will make you smile. I was quite active a couple of year's ago and have just restarted using pastels over the past month or two. (I'm kicking myself for not painting as I've rediscovered how I love it so!)

This was painted on Cansen MT and used a range of pastel pencils combined with some Rembrandt and Art Spectrum softies for impact. The star is Lana, my gorgeous friend's rescue dog. The decking and leaves are also a nod to my friend who is a landscape designer/horticulturalist.

Thank you so much for looking!

Thank you Divasin, Peggy, Perry and Karen for your encouragement. I was quite nervous posting so your kind words mean a lot.
