Thanks for hosting Holly, sorry I am so late. Its been a busy week with doctors and tests and such but all good news thanks goodness. I have an pulmonary embolism which is coming under control but it will take a while to dissolve. Meanwhile my wings have been clipped a bit but am feeling much better than a few weeks ago.
This is acrylic on canvas and was done in less than 90 minutes and measures 8 x 12 inches.

Thanks for looking, all C and C welcome

This is very nice! I love how the colors are combined to make a more realistic look than would probably be possible with a solid color. It also makes the piece really interesting to look at. I especially like the person's hair.

What a beautiful piece of work you've done. Lively colors that fit the personality, I think. The likeness is perfect. I hope you feel better soon. Take care of yourself!

That's beautiful, Christine! I love the colors and the way the blue and teal are picked up everywhere, and I always love your loose, free, painterly style. You've really captured the windblown hair and the light coming from behind. It's a flattering portrait, full of energy.

I'm so glad you found time and are feeling better. Painting is much more fun than doctor's appointments! Definitely get lots of rest while you're healing.

Glad to hear you are getting better, Christine.
There is certainly plenty of energy in this bright and upbeat portrait which I think capture the personality of our host. The blue lights set off the skin tones well.

I always love your paintings and the colors you use in them. I still remember the old fiddler you did when I hosted. I am lifting you up in prayer that you get back to be 100 % real soon. Painting does help me when I am not feeling good, so hope it works that way for you also.
