I joined the queue in the Watermedia Challenge and painted Boxer "Roxy"

I now remember why I don't paint many animals in watercolor! :( What a struggle to finish her and many thanks to my Inktense Pencils.
I promise, in future, to give fulsome praise to those courageous artists among us who paint watercolor dogs!!! :)

Well, I think you did a terrific job of painting Roxy Viv. You always seem to capture the spirit of the animals you paint.

This is a lovely portrait. I just love the expression and the overall softness. :)

She's lovely, Viv. You have done an admirable job with watercolors, a medium that I will never pursue because it daunts me!

Why, this is lovely! I can't paint with watercolor at all - watercolors and I don't see eye to eye. So I am truly impressed by those who can do such great things with them. Good work, Viv! This is beautiful!
