Lovely and unusual perspective of the lioness. I am a bit confused about the light source though. I feel that the grass could fade a bit more towards the top to indicate depth.

Lovely work! I like her relaxed pose, though I do agree about the light source. The fur textures are nicely done!

Thanks Christel, Jenna, Lisa and Viv.
Christel The light in the reference is not defined, is taken like midday in a cloudy day, so there are no shadows or highlights. I just did not want to add my light because my experience shows is going to look strange. I made the grass dark, because the overall color of the complete picture was the same of the lioness... king of boring, but I liked the pose and the way the lioness was looking...

Very nice relaxed looking lioness - I love the really soft look of the fur. I like the feet too.

Thanks Chammi and Kay :)... the fur actually has a lot of detail, but cant be seen in the picture...:) I'll make a closeup if I take a good pic ...

Jon, The reference was taken in South Africa in a Safari ... of course you are inside a car... but she was really far away...

Nice job I like the pose. The colours seems a bit saturated may be you took the photo under artificial light

Thanks Robert, yes the photo is not the best one... I have had no time and weather conditions for me to make a proper shooting of my recent pieces... also the chameleon, I've not posted it because of the bad picture I have...
Anyway I'm planing to make some small modifications to this one... I'll add some small purple flowers and some grass overlapping the lioness :)
