View Full Version : I Didn't Do It!

(um, yes you did)

Back in December my cat Furball knocked over my uncovered tray of pastels. (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1418784)

It was very upsetting.
I know it was Furball because she is the only cat who knocks things over.

The thing about Furball though is she is perfect and can do no wrong...so while the other two get in trouble all the time, when Furball does something Really Bad she gets to star in a painting.

I like how you echoed those colors in the background.
Well done!

It must be nice to be Furball in your house! I love the look of innocence on her face! What a great portrait!

Maybe the wind knocked them over and she is trying to clean up?

I can commiserate. My cat is no longer allowed in the studio. Love it!

Lol, I agree - guilty.
It's a lovely portrait.

LOL! Love that "innocent" expression on her "not guilty" face. I also like the "smuggie" background too; as though she managed to color the whole scene around her.

Ha ha, a likely story. My cat slept on one of my paintings of a rose once, I'm sure he would have claimed his innocence too except for the pink patch on his backside.
Love it!

Furball also says thank you.

I love the way your portrait goes beyond just a representation and tells a story. Very convincing.
