Hi Everyone, here's one of my pieces. I know it's cut off a bit at the top, but don't have another picture. Critiques welcome.http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/26-Feb-2017/225111-Olivarez,_Lisa_08.jpg

Wow! I like your use of color and the sense of movement of the shapes! Those energetic strokes on top tie it all together.

This is very nice Lisa! I like the colours of course, but mainly liked how much you seem to have had fun with it.

Thanks for the kind comments, it was VERY fun to paint. It was done on some of the original Kitty Wallis paper, which held many, many layers. I just love the gratuitous color usage pastel allows.

Nice use of all those colors, and very fun movement throughout the painting. How big is this?

Beautiful use of colours. It represents a lot of rhythmic movement and energy.
Great work.

Thanks again:) , it's about 30 x 40 inches.

Which actually means it's not Walis paper, doesn't it? Must have been some homemade stuff using museum board, acrylic matte medium and aluminum oxide grit.

Wow, and Fun, were the first things to come to my mind. Nicely done!

This is a really fun painting-- a place I would like to visit! (and go plein airing in! :D)

That's always my goal! Paint a place where people would love to wander. Thanks all!

Wow! That's an impressive size to paint. This is probably a show stopper in real life.
