This is one of my recent works that I created using soft pastels on Canson MT.
It is a beautiful evening scene at Kata beach, Phuket. The rocks, the trees and the distant hills made for a beautiful composition and the sparkle on the seawaves added to the beauty.

I love painting seascapes and enjoyed creating this one.

Beautiful! The distant shore is colorful and recedes quite nicely into the distance. Well done!

You created a beautiful evening atmosphere! I like how you softened the distant trees so they recede nicely.

Nice work! Effective use of those blues to "haze out" the distance. I wouldn't mind climbing on those rocks!

Lovely use of colour and sense of space/distance!

Thanks Mr Bob Palmerton,
I checked upon your pastel landscapes works and they are truly amazing.

Thanks Leslie for the appreciation. I am trying to work on atmospheric perspective in my landscape paintings. As I paint more of them, my understanding gets better.
