First of all thank you for dropping by my post.
I would like to say that this is my first post here, so hello to all.
I am about a beginner, and started drawing now after a long long time.

I will be happy to get some encouraging words :)
Also criticism is most welcome, as I think it will help me improve, please point out all the faults and all the improvements I can do.

For now I am just posting pencil drawing, as I am practicing that, will start using colors (I like water-colours) after spending more time with pencils.

This one is on an A4 paper with 2H and 2B pencils.
Also I did not took notice of the time as I guess that I took a lot of time in doing this.

Welcome! Great job ensuring the shadows keep the dog grounded. This is not an easy pose to capture. I wonder if the head and front legs should be a bit larger? Such a cutie in any case.

I like it! You did a nice job! I especially like the way you did the dog's back hip and his nose, as well as the shadow in the front.

Thanks for posting this!

Hi! Nice debut piece. There are some inaccuracies in the proportions but practice will quickly improve that. The main point is that it conveys the vulnerable and affectionate nature of the subject. Try some outline drawings with light and simple washes of colour, I think that would suit you well.

Lovely sweet drawing of this beagle! Good use of tone and shadow. I agree with EP and Harry's comments. Hope you join in with the next WDE! :)
