View Full Version : BlueSB's Pure Doodle Book (2017)

Many months ago, while I was checking out a Michaels, I managed to spot a few huge (11x14 in) Canson XL Sketchs for $1.19 I, of course, jumped on the offer before realizing I really wasn't a fan of such a thin paper. They sat around for a long while before guilt finally did me in. I decided I'd go ahead and use up at least one of them.

...I also decided I'd go back to my roots and use this book for outright doodles and some quick gestures, along with quoting song lyrics, videos, and writing down notes and personal thoughts. In that way, this is one of those sketchbooks that puts quantity over quality, haha! (There's some vulgarity in terms of words, but I'll hopefully remember to cover those up prior to posting those pages.)

Anywho, I hope you guys enjoy. Comments and Critiques are always appreciated, though, admittedly, this is probably the wrong sketchbook for the latter...

(Note: Just about all of these were done with my various different fountain pens.

Note 2: I don't actually know if there's an image limit per post, so I'm going to slowly get my stuff up here. No need to post 40 pages worth of stuff at once... I think)

You do a lot of sketches on each page. Nice!

Great idea to do some loosening up doodles. Working on thin paper makes you bolder and less worried about messing up more expensive paper :) Yay!
