It is hard to say what makes "good" abstract art; I think it's abstract nature makes it difficult to quantify. For me, personally, I like abstract art that definitely hints at things regarding what it could be or represent. When it goes too abstract, it becomes nothing at all but colors on canvas. Is there anything "wrong" with that? Not really, but I personally don't get anything out of that type of art.
