Thank you Dennis, it was a lot of fun!
Monique, Welcome to WetCanvas!! This was done on hot-press 260lb paper. It was my first experience with hot-press paper.

Looks wonderful Mal... how do you like working on hot press? I find working on museum board is much like hot press, and lots of fun. This pineapple looks yummy.. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif Carol

You have really learned how to "see" on this one. It wasn't a lesson and you had to get it together all yourself...Great job Lady. http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thank you my friends. I never felt alone...not while I had my WetCanvas! friends giving me support along the way. Something funny about that live pineapple, first I had Fear, then we made Friends, then I ATE it! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif Sandy
ps. llis, would you like cheese with that whine? http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/wink.gif

I love it Mal! The entire thing is great but those leaves are just beautiful! It's that type of effect that makes me envy water colorists! I have no idea how you would layer those colors & still keep all of the detail of the under-colors. I also really like the way you used your light source on this one! Cheryl
