Sorry, I forgot to say that's a tad crooked and I didn't get all of the picture in the scanner... hope you can see enough to tell how my leaves are looking. Thanks, Sandy

I like very much your pineapple leaves; i think that a bit of violet in the green of foliage gives a lot of interest to it, I also use to do this.

Hi Mal! Love the colors you are using in the leaves...take some of that great purple into the pineapple too. Of course you know how I like a lot of color!

This is actually a nice abstract design, too

Mal,

Isn't it wonderful to explore with colors and paint? You are on to bigger and wonderful things. You are really doing a great job! I really can't wait till this is done. Are you going to do all the fruits and hang them in your kitchen??

Warmth,
ReNae

Hi Mal,
Love your colors, like the combinations,
I too would like to see some of these color in the pineapple itself.
One other thing I would do is add more darks at the base of the leaves, where they all join at the stem or base, the light would be restricted and each leaf base would be darker, not too much just a bit of shadow right at the end as they meet in the center,
Rod

great job Mal - I agree with Rod and Sandi on the darker parts. Would love to see how that kitchen looks with all these wonderful fruits you are doing! http://www.wetcanvas.com/ubb/smile.gif Carol
