Hi all  ,
I thought I'd posted this the other night but something happened and the post is gone... Maybe I hit cancel instead.

Anyway this is my fourth piece working in pyrography. The subject is a beloved family dog who passed away too soon in 2006. I am semi-pleased with how it turned out (and yes there are a few elements that still need to be finished). Any and all comments are welcome!

Approx. 5x7 on pine board, using Walnut Hollow Versa Tool. Thanks for looking :)

Gone too soon, very sad. :(

I think it is beautiful, I love the detail in the fur and the straw. I love the paws. :)

Jesslyn - a warm welcome to the Animal & Wildlife Forum!

Beautiful piece! Wouldnt be easy to do with pyrography, but youve made a amazing job of it!

Sorry you lost your family dog so soon, very sad to lose a beloved dog at any age, but especially so when he was only 4 years old. A German Shepherd?

Looking forward to seeing more of your work on this Forum.
