MY COMMENTS:
I am trying to find a balance between traditional still life and abstract. I have noticed that people are starting to like more mode<br> artwork but I still want to incorporate the beauty of still life and realism.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
What do you think? Coul it be more abstract? if so how?

of course it could be more abstract, in many way, but i don't think it should be, i believe it's quite lovely as it is, balanced with some tension, delicate yet moody, i like it very much

That's actually very nice, as-is. I look at color harmony, balance, interest, and other traditional design criteria (especially if something is intended to be abstract or expressionist). That painting has it all. But I'm surprised that you did it in oils!

The blue is especially attractive. I encourage you to describe which colors (pigments) you used.

This is very soothing to look at. Reminds me of Winnie the Pooh for some reason. Beautiful colours, lighting, and use of black outline.
