Very moving.

A sad day to see our own Aircraft Carrier sail off https://www.rt.com/uk/369513-hms-illustrious-royal-navy/

A worrying time - I wonder if they feared the Japanese might revisit and take her out as well. Nicely done Jim.

Always enjoy your art, Jim. You have a real talent with those brushes.

Thank you all for commenting. Not doing much painting just now.
Wife got sick, got better, then got sick again. Ok now.
Dog went lame, got ex ray, needs Operation(next Friday). Just finnished reading a manuscript by an AB in HMS TARTAR during WW2. My friend Tim is publishing it. I'm 'doing' the cover.
Sent two portraits over to Russia via British Consulate. Went down extremely well. ( one ex Submarine CO and Destroyer CO) and of course Christmas on the Horizon.
