lovely, moody, pleasant dreary, i like it
but
this little cluster of darks keeps attracting/distracting my eyes from the rest of the view
could be the pic ... could be the angle of the tree, or the dead centeredness, or the sharpness/heaviness of dark or edge of whatever that is under the bridge .. not sure.

Something about the bridge?...maybe a slight reflection of it in water , or a slight street light glow highlight along the edges of it? The rails look great but the main structure seems too dark , it draws the eye but probably not where you want the focal to be...

Does this mean that the central tree is on the far bank? If so, it could maybe be a little less intense in tone to push it back and make it seem further away than the other trees?

I don't know a lot about painting, so please ignore me if this seems incorrect to you!

Dianne, that makes total sense, but the reflection on the photo sort of has it all distorted. I think I'm close in real life.

I like this painting. The colors are Cezanne-ish (good).
