I'm taking a class at DIgital Art Academy 'whats new in painter 2017' and have been really enjoying all the new wonderful things in this version of painter. This was a painting I did a dew years ago that was very lack luster. I desaturated it and played with the new texture brushes and blend mode and this is the result.
A great way to zip up an otherwise dull painting!
All comments and critiques are welcome. Thanks for looking!

This is the original before I desaturated it to play with.

I like the colours and the increased contrast in the new version.

Quite a difference from you first elephants, which I like much better....you know I have done that. taken some older paintings and redone them. So much we can do with digital painting.

Love what you've done with this. I see little wet spots and blooms.

Love it as well and now you've got me thinking of actually taking a class. Probably won't though :-)

Thanks everyone! I think this also expresses my growth as an artist. I have finally learned to embrace color. But it is still sometimes a challenge.
Thanks again for looking!

Bother are great!
What I might have done, was take the original and darkened the background areas or maybe parts of the elephants to show contrast between the two elements.
Just my 2¢...

Gives the watercolour style of painting and looks good.
