Hi Sass - A very striking painting. The autumn leaves against the grey bark is beautiful and unusual. :)

I love this! I am curious though... How do you use the watercolour pencils (and which brand?) ;-)

I use Creatacolor, a woodless pencil. I can draw with them and then go over them with a wet brush or vise versa. I can also shave or sharpen them and use the shavings on wet paper, and then spray them for some neat effects. These pencils are from Austria.

Love the curvature and flow on the bark and the shape of the trees. Very interesting (seriously...I like it!).

Thank you for your critiques. And Rod, you are an artisit that I have the utmost respect for. I admire your work, and I would love to learn more of your techniques.
