Hi everyone! It's officially spring here with high temperatures in the 30*C. I'm already busy preparing beds for the vegies and have a willing helping hand

It's Autumn for the Northern Hemisphere so it'll be lovely to see photos of your autumn colors.
Here is a photo of swans by Lisilk, RIL and a sunset photo.

The end of October and Halloween. Caitlyn, our granddaughter dressed as Dorothy from the Wizard of OZ is very upset, since the trick or treaters ring the doorbell, very exciting - candy - then they leave. Not understanding the concept yet.... Years ago... Please correct the red eye!

Lovely photographs Becky.

Love your painting Christel - real nice form to the tree structures and branches, but I'm loving the cloud structure and colors used!!

Christel, the cloud looks as if it is the leaves in autumn yet is distinctly a cloud. Truly a beautiful piece of work. All those branches, nice job there also.

So many great photographs, and so little time.

Thanks Mary and Ratchet. For the tree I used mainly a black dermatograph marker and the finer twigs I used a black cp

Beautiful painting Christel, the water is really wonderful - great treatment of the values and reflections. I like your arrangement, the mother swan is awesome especially the feather work.

Tuscanny,
Another Pretty Picture.

The photo looks flat, one dimensional to me as if the balloon were in front of a screen. I noticed you put the perspective back so the balloon looks above the plain rather than in front of it. Nice Work!

Wonderful scene Christel. By bringing the temperature of the balloon colors up the ground stays back and lets the balloon take on feel of floating across the land aspect. Awesome work.
