FIGURE REQUEST for fellow boarders...

hi folks! i'm looking to do a painting involving a nude/semi nude woman. she's reclining and she's holding a draping towel up to cover/partialy cover her breasts. i've done a few sketches so far from different angles. i like them all (the angles) but need some help.

if anyone out there can send me a photo of a similar pose, either a pic of themselves or someone from a magazine or book, i'd be grateful. also, i wouldn't show the photo around w/o permission.

this gets back to the other topic about a nude figure site specifically for wet canvas. have a little fun with this! i'll also do whatever it takes to get this ($, art, whatever...)

Sorry, Richard, can't help you on this one. I don't really have any model shots that fit your description, but even if I did I couldn't allow their use without permission of the model, and in many cases I have lost track of the models over the years. This is where your cooperative venture could have been helpful. Have you considered posting your idea over on the figure drawing group at Delphi? Lots of models hang out there...

right on!!! i suddenly have a (small but growing) handfull of photos for the site. i guess i'm making some headway in this project. it's a fact that some of the photos are a little racier than others, there's nothing that i think would cause any problems.
