In a little 7 inch S&B sketchbook I've experimented with flowers a few times this year - you've seen them already but here they are together.

Should I frame them? They are just sitting in the sketchbook but there are a few exhibitions coming up and it might be an idea to have some small pieces. What do you think?

If I frame them it would be in limed ash to match the frames on other work. I only very occasionally use darker frames.

I don't usually do flowers but these were often done as demos working alongside the class and trying to create compositions and studies that interested me, rather than just a vase of flowers.

They would make nice gift cards Vivien.

Why not? If you think they should be, then do so.

Yes, by all means frame them. Each one is a delight. Many people do not have much wall space or money, so are looking for smaller works they can afford. Or some buy them for gifts. I've had great luck with them this year here.
