What is a Studio Art degree?

What is an AA in Studio Art? It is an option for me to take when applying to nashville community college. I know it can be transferred to a University.....just dont know what it consists of:confused:

i'm assuming AA stands for associates in art, since it is a community college which usually offers two year associate programs. a major in studio art, at least at my last school, was for a bfa. it is where eventually you decided what mediums will be your major and minor. so a watercolor major and a photography minor or something like that, or as i understood it.
