I have this thing about old trucks. They have such a story and I find them so relaxing to paint. This was done on the ipad pro in PaintStorm. (Wonderful program by the way)
All comments and critiques are always welcome!

I love your work. I like the feel of it. Does that make sense? It is a wonderful painting with a great subject.

Barb, did you have a reference photo to look off of? Your details are terrific!

I did use a reference photo and for this one, because I wanted to get all the details, I did a very detailed trace sketch. Then it was me and the pixels. Also when I finished the painting, I added a texture layer to give it more of the rusty feel to it and used a layer mask and played with blend modes and opacity.
Thanks again for looking folks!!

Thanks everyone! Every time I paint an old truck, I think of my grandfather and his travels with his dog. It always makes me smile

Barb, this is wonderful, I love the textures. The details, the chain, OMG is just gorgeous.
One thing that bothers me a little is the foliage, especially coming out of the windshield. It just seems like it needs to be more solid. Maybe a twig or 2?
