4 weeks old, 250 grams (about 10 ounces) and a 50:50 chance of survival the vet says but so far so good. One of the tribe of feral cats who live around me had 3 kittens in my garden. When 2 died and the last one looked as though it was about to - I took it in.

Treated for external parasites and on kitten formula.

Doing well so far but the resident tiger is furious - snarling, hissing and moaning. She is over 12 years old now but was a 2 week old orphan and only 25 grams (one ounce) that I raised successfully - so fingers crossed for this little scrap, 10 times that size.

I wasn't planning on another cat though

Probably a boy but apparently it's hard to tell until he's 6 weeks. I persuaded him to keep still-ish to sketch him this morning.

Poor kitty. Hope it will survive and be happy in your home. Lovely little sketch of the tiny thing.

Nooooo, I was really hoping for a happy ending when I read this. At least you will never forget him as he is captured in your heart and your sketchbook! :) <3

That is so sad. He was beautiful and I hoped he'd pull through. Parasites can kill them so easily. Hugs. Lovely drawing and photos. Poor little mite.
