Good morning everyone! Maybe y'all can help me? It's time for me to renew my website hosting. I'm not happy with who I have now. They were cheap but my site is down A LOT and I'm sick of it. Who do you use or who would you recommend or who would you say to stay away from? I don't sell from the site much, I keep it so that when people say "do you have a website?" I can say yes....but that may change in the future too. I'd like to be able to say that yes I have a site and when they go to it it's actually there!

I changed from Geocities to Homestead and love it!! I do everything myself and it is very easy to use! If I can do anyone can!! LOL! It's the same price I was paying for Geocities.

Most places like homestead or register.com will have banners and all kinds of crap that take up the top of your site.
Check out the banner on my link page on my site and if you like the site, contact them.

I prefer verio.com for top level server performance. :)

I just started my first website about one month ago with Yahoo!
So far, so good. They don't have banners on any of the pages, it is very user friendly with their software (drag & drop), and I think it's relatively inexpensive. I don't have experience with any other web hosting, but so far Yahoo hasn't let me down.

We also use Yahoo and love it. It costs a little more than some hosting services but it's never ever ever down, and that's what we need. I highly recommend Yahoo.

I am just starting to build a website using register.com and there are no banners. It is easy but limited. I am going to check out Yahoo! A friend told me it is very easy to use.

I opened mine here at WC, but I don't think that Scott is taking any more hosting jobs until he upgrades the system.

Good luck!

We use www.hostrocket.com for our three websites and are extremely pleased! LOTS and LOTS of space for $9.95/mo and virtually no down time except for scheduled maintenance at off hours for maybe one hour every few months. Great cust. service too.

We tried addr.com and I hated their service. Used to have earthlink that was fine but 3x the price of HR.
