It is the soul of a horse with no name.

For me the horse has a sad, resigned feel, and the extended legs give the impression that it's an apparition.

I, o my God, LOVE this! It's so minimalist, yet it's got so much soul. It makes me feel introspective and like a lonesome horse, but not in a depressive way at all.

It also has a bit of a Native American type vibe to it too, so it's spiritual.

It's just such a great painting, I don't even have words for how much I like it. (Love it.)

I agree, the horse has a sadness to it but the affect isn't depressive.

I think this would look good on the wall of a contemporary southwest mansion.

I think it looks like a cave painting, very primitive!

I think the message for me is sadness really, I cannot see or feel anything other than a strong sense of sadness, aloneness, and a feeling of wanting to give up...nicely done.

excellent responses everyone, Thanks so much!
[arty, i just want to *hug* you - you Got it!]

to relieve any grief from those whom i've given sadness, note the distant grey, the rainy season is coming and he's going to be okay.

this is a strange image
didn't know what it was at first
it didn't have enough schtuff for me
if I stare, I see a horse (after reading about other people's words)
it feels old and ancient
like a god or monster
maybe something I'd enjoy seeing in art class
but not having up on the ol' wall

I like it La, in a way i can't say why. But then again i like everything you create. It is understated and the colours are subtle.

I saw an ancient horse/spirit. It is a haunting image - in a good way. I've gone back and looked at it many times.
