3 foot x 6 foot oil on canvas view from the west of Cleveland. This one took about 3 months to complete and it is definitely not realismů..

Not realism but enjoyable to view. And worth a bit of study. Gary

Having driven through many northern cities I can tell you this is a welcome break from the typical gray buildings.

Like the use of color but seems a tad much but very effective great job

I love the brightness of this piece and this is how we should look at life in generalů

You've give the buildings a festive look through your use of color. I imagine this painting packs quite a visual/emotional wallop when seen at full scale!

Thanks Annie! I agree that this is not a very good photo and the colors look much better in person. I wish I spent a bit more time on the buildings to make them look a bit more detailed--maybe in future cityscapes.

This is an interesting work on a large scale. It has a vibrant sense of fun, I could see it as a wall mural in a downtown Cleveland diner, Wes!
(maybe you can find a trendy place who will buy it to hang on their wall - quite a customer drawcard I think)

Thanks Mark! That would be fantastic for sure. It isn't very easy to transport. My brother in law will probably get it for that reason.....
