A rescued painting... the half painted original sat in the corner for nearly 2 months before I decided to try and save it by lifting out a mistake and strengthening colours.
I feel the front hill on the left cast's too big a shadow, and that it lacks a strong focal point but otherwise think it came out o.k
Painted on 180ib rough paper (brand unknown - had it a long time)

Literal, very nice seascape. I especially like the ripples upon the sand in the foreground.
Hope you do some more seascapes -- I'll be looking forward to them.

Thanks Javier, Glad you like it.
Living in a coastal area I am certain to do more seascapes. I'll be sure to Post them :)

Great rescue! The shadow doesn't bother me a bit, love the flat, gentle motion of the waves...they carried me right on in, the only thing my eye took a double take on was the foreground contrast on the right, but I'm not sure if you would even want to touch it, nice work.....yes, do more seascapes!Great job......Karen:D
I think it works well, your eye is taken in a curve across the ripples and settles in the distant gap in the hills,
