Made this one yesterday. I used a Jinhao X750 modified to take a G nib filled with De atramentis Archive ink. Painted with blockx watercolors on a 300 gsm watercolor paper. (Cheap bulk store brand stuff) Ues a Rosemary & co R9 squirrel mop. Any questions? Ask away!http://www.wetcanvas.com/Community/images/31-Mar-2016/1978988-smalllijwaadcathscan.jpg

Interesting to take the backyard view of the Cathedral instead of the Cathedral itself. I like it.

How do you like the pen mod?

How did the pen work with the cold press(?) watercolor paper?

Thanks for sharing!

Doug,

I have no idea of the paper is cold pressed. It just says "fine" on the packaging.
It did fine. The pen does need some getting used to. It needs to be primed a little bit sometimes. It's not perfect but it works!

Great work! I really like the windows on the building in the foreground. The cathedral in back is awesome.

Great job water color is not my thing but it looks like something that I may have to try sometime.
