Hello all,
Haven't posted in a while.This is softer than what i usually do....
The colors are not coming out as would wish....i'm still posting it though:p ...my kingdom for a digital camera!

Yes, very soft and a good use of primary colors, light & shadow. What is supposed to be wrong with that?

That red in the middle works very well. Inteligent use of the colours:)

Michael, its just that in the original painting the green is softer, and at the bottom the red is oranger, thats all!;)
Good news were getting a digi camera this week, now i will have to learn to take better pictures! Great end of a Monday to all of you!:)

There's something living that goes well beyond the representation. Something that's similar to Van Gogh's flowers, although the execution is much more Gauguin-like. Or perhaps Odillon Redon (whom I adore!) would be the closest.
The beauty and depth of your colors, Sylvie, reminded me of an abstract work I did a few years ago. I am starting a new thread by posting it.
