I like this image. It gives me a real feeling of depth. This a great character. Any back story?

If you mean is this a character from something, no.
Although, I do believe that were this to be constructed of brass and gold and silk ang gems, it would imply some kind of wedding or coronation costume for a pharoah or emperor.

I have a penchant for costume design and detail.

I asked earlier when one knows when a piece is done. This is a good example, I think. It's the first piece I've been happy with since I got Painter5.

I'm trying to achieve a level of narrative art where I can give the drawing to a costume shop, they could build it without consulting me.
