Does anyone know a site where you can see a finished portfolio? Every site I find seems to have one or two pieces of work from certain portfolios that got a high score. I'd like to view a whole one, with ALL the pieces, even if it didn't get a high score. I just need a better idea of what people do, what's good and what's not so good.
thanks dudes
:)

If I wasnt worried that the download time of massive amounts of images would be a problem, I'd say to start a thread asking folks to post their portfolios or something. ?

Really? Do you think it would work, or would it take up too much space? Because I'd love to see a portfolio, ANY portfolio, as long as it was done. :) My internet searches have been in vain.
Yeah, If it's alright with you guys, and if it wouldn't cause too many problems, I just might try it.

I agree, Id love to see peoples finished portfolios (im working on mine)
Maybe if they have web space they could put them on a page?
Or maybe shrink them a little. Or just stick them on seperate posts, I wouldnt mind waiting for the dl time

When I get back home after this semester I can post mine if you want.. But we can see what we can do about setting up some sort of thing for people to show their portfolios. Maybe i can do the first example, and then others can follow my lead (unless that will be too far away, and you want it sooner?)

What if you did it in Project form?
For example, the Postcard Projects have hundreds of images, 30 per participant, and you can see all one person's thumbnails at once.
And you could make the project a sticky in this forum so people could add to it whenever.
Just a thought! :)

Actually, if you guys had maybe missed it, I'm already recruiting people who'd like to share their completed portfolios for a project.

http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?t=157821

If you yourself has a completely portfolio that you'd be willing to share with the rest of us, then please tell me and I'll contact you with more detailed information about the project. Remeber, we can't actually do this project if I don't have enough people to get the ball rolling. So if you know someone who has one, or you yourself has one, pass on the word and get involved :D

hmm it would be nice to see portfolios of students rather than accomplished artists...
