Hi Art Buddies -

Here are some great photos for a paint-a-long.

Just paint them however you like.....or do an abstract approach, or a one or two color study.....use pencil instead of paint,...........

anything goes here in Classical cause we are at the " top of the stack" so to speak....with all the glorious art history underneath us, encouraging us to syncronize or divert.

And just because, here are two more.

Took the picture of the monkey in the tree not far from here, in a semi-urban area. I like the negative shapes made by the tree branches:

And this old wagon I encountered in the artsy town of Parys while on an outing there with friends. It just begged to be photographed, and drawn:

And here's my attempt at one of the pics:

Ballpoint pen, 5 x 3.5 inches (i.e. double ACEO size).

Thank you Tyree... Having never seen this type of Flower in the flesh created an extra challenge to paint its form from the photo.

Odin - very nice, I like the greenish gray background.....the flower does have a illusive sultry quality that is brought out this way.....and it's purple and flamboyant shape is lovely in this setting... totally works well
