Wish my journey home from work looked like this - you must drive straight through the fields?!! Good job, though - very Autumnal.

I love the composition and color!
You sure do crank them out Wayne!
Your paintings show your confidence and flare for the knife.

Nice one. I especially like the colour for the sky. I take a scenic route home too...I keep meaning to bring my camera.

you dont paint instead of work?

paint well applied and a good solid work. Tree forms good and great sense of light and shape to the focal tree. Light in sky prolly best I have seen from you; the 2 areas are great.

Your past couple of paintings have been okay, but this is up to your level of excitement and feeling of there.

Can't put my finger on it, Wayne.....But this one shows a finesse that I do not always see in your work! The focal point tree is done extremely well and your palette is very pleasing. Good job. Jim

Yes, it is definately one of your better ones Wayne. I like the way you handled the colors. At least on my screen the sky seems to have a bit of pink cast to it, which looks really good against that lovely muted green in the distance.

Thank you all very much .. yes, I am lucky as I have a 15 minuite drive to work and there is a back road that host nothing but farms .. apple and veggie so it's quite a nice drive.

The only thing new is that I am inventing colors instead of trying to replicate .. ie.. what color do I think would work best against this .. ie.. the lavender sky against a yellow highlite tree .. etc.

Always nice to sea your landscape or nature paintings. Inventing or painting in non-realistic colors is gives me lots of painting pleasure also. Good continuation and show more !
