Not a lot of time these days, so I haven't been here much. I'm doing a weekly figure drawing class (look here (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=139939) if your curious) but that's about it. Trying to muster the discipline for the weekly pastel thread, but it just won't happen, it seems!
Anyway, I wanted to post the last one I had from my portraiture class - here's a detail for those of you that appreciate the creamy strokes of Schmincke's:

The whole head can be seen here (http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=139945), in Portraiture.
Thanks for looking

I like this close crop all by itself!

Nicely done Gunilla, YOu really select those vibrant colors in there and it's just a glowing piece of work.

Meant to comment on your figure studies - they are looking great and I'm thrilled for you to be doing more figure work again.

Keep going - your portraits are always a treat.

Have to ask - is the light color to our left the hair or the background? If it's the hair - keep it that textured. If it's the background - perhaps smooth it out a bit to receed it a bit.

Just a thought - not necessary to make any changes at all.

You go girl!

Wonderful! I love how you do the strokes and keep them light.
This crop is terrific...but I looked and I like the whole thing as well.
