I make my own glimmer mist sprays, using fine mica powders and distilled water or alcohol. They turn out as beautiful as the expensive bought ones, but my problem is clogging of the nozzles. I am very diligent about washing the entire spray mechanism in warm soapy water as soon as I finish spraying, and yet they still clog! Does anyone have any suggestions? I wonder if there are spray bottles that can accommodate larger particles . HELP!

I have no idea. But, when you figure it out, please share the solution. This sounds intriguing.

My waterbrushes clog up when I put ink in them. I use Indian ink sometimes and water it down.

To try a resolve that, and it works most of the time, I put them in my ultrasonic jewellery cleaner and let it go for the longest time on the time.

I wash them out first of course and get them as clean as I can. The ultrasonic cleaner works beautifully on my fountain pens too.

That sounds like it might work. I almost bought one of those back when I used Rapidographs.

This is my struggle! I hate cloggy misters!
