I like this but it seems a bit out of focus??

Perhaps an explanation is in order. Fra Angelico has just completed his Master Piece and I just happen to be lying in wait. The good Monk says his prayers and drifts off to sleep. Through the miracle of modern technology I approach the still wet canvas and in the spirit of Dada I play with the wet paint (bad boy that I am). I smear it all to hell.

The last one with that fairy atmosphere looks pretty amazing.

All but the last seem out of focus - how did you do that?
I assume these are oils.

Harry, you are schmearing very well. Very interesting takes on the works of old masters. Btw, I saw among the zillions of artists who sell their works on Saatchi the works of an American lady (can't remember her name now) that entail the exact same idea. More realistic though. She sells them for nice prices.

These are not paintings these are digital schmears of photos of the old master's original works. All but Keane (not that old and not a Master) but fun nonetheless.
