MY COMMENTS:
I have been working on this for a while now, on and off. I need to get it finished and it is about 75% done. The figure will be softened considerably and the hard lines will be more integrated.

MY QUESTIONS FOR THE GROUP:
The standard, composition the color ect... anything you have to add is appreciated.

I think it looks great. The only small problem that I have is the value of the thighs. It seems too dark.

Very well rendered. The values seem a bit dark. That could be a result of the digital reproduction, and how my computer is interpreting the image. Why is the focal point of the painting just the woman's torso? For me, it would be compositionally stronger if the model had an identity, by having her face in the picture.

I'm certain the darkness is digitally related as you are great with skin tones. Overall it's a striking piece as all your works are and very well done. The wood grain of the chair/chaise and it's shadows are wonderful! Any particular reason why the nipples are teardrop shaped instead of round?:)

Andrew, Rabbit and Pero, it has shown up dark, but trying to manipulate it has only distorted the piece. I didn't want to put a face in because, I love the design of the female torso and its interplay between the different elements and textures, Hard vs. Soft ect.. I was attempting to make it much more design oriented. I hope I was able to explain this to you, as I am not all that good with words. Dan
