View Full Version : My New Pastel Desk!

My husband bought this desk on Craig;s List to put tools in it. I took one look at those shallow drawers and said ah ha! MINE!
It is so perfect for pastels. I have them in the left drawers in order of use frequency. The right drawers are a little deeper so I use those for supplies, tools, etc. I can set my desktop easel on top or work with a floor easel to the side. I'm in heaven! Hubby was going to build one for me but for $50 it was already perfect!

Ok, count me in. I'm jealous, too :envy: (although that emoticon always looks more angry than jealous to me). And I'm jealous of all those beautiful paintings in your studio!

Thanks for the complements on the portraits! I have been posting them mostly in portraiture - haven't figured out how to cross post without re-doing the whole thing.

I see a guitar hiding in there, too. What a fun room! Fabulous desk. Always refreshing to improve one's studio!

Delightful portraits! If I were going to cross-post something, I would click "edit" on the first post, copy the HTML text, and then paste it into a new thread in pastels. It would be cool to see your work additionally in the pastel forums.
