La, I like the movement and colors, but they are interrupted where the canvas texture is noticeable... Imean, like in the lower part, or right upper corner, the yellow left upper corner is awesome. Just my opinion...
It looks to me as a view from an airplane over a mountain ridge in the afternoon with very strong weather...
thanks fedetony, will look closely for problem texture, sometimes i leave it because the color showing through is a bonus, but yeah, will check that and correct where it's too obvious, thanks for the discerning eye.

Love the movement, and everything else about this. A departure from the figures I recall having seen you do before here.

beautiful. the only place that makes my eyes stop with a jar is the middle right
short dark double mountain
thanks garyk, i'm in search of a muse beyond figures these days, it's a challenge, but i'm having fun experimenting with a bunch of different things now, like abstract, which is So weird.
mary, thanks but tsk, would a wee swipe of lighter help that jar, i thought i'd made a bit of a rest stop there, something to break up the stripes.

La, I love everything about this! This is a winner! Wish it weren't so small.

As a realistic painter, I'll admit I was having difficulty enjoying your painting until I stepped back and viewed it from a few feet away. Suddenly a very enjoyable picture emerged. I liked it. Great painting.
thanks dana and yeah, bigger is just generally better isn't it =)
you're doing it right, Dottie, backing up a bit helps tremendously, thanks much for noticing that option =)

Ah the journeys one could take through this landscape never once going the same road. Not sure about the muddy spot in the middle looks unplanned. Otherwise - carry dear girl!
