Watercolor on yupo (synthetic paper) 14x11

The boots, big, heavy and oversize, symbolize the past, pulling you back.
The window open to the opportunies and possibilities.
The colorful balls could belong to a juggler who can deal with whatever is thrown at him...
I hope that makes sense!

Like it with its loose style yet full of metaphors

Great work Magz! I am amazed at the control that you have on yupo. One small bit has me wondering... the dots emanating from the person's head seem to be directed at the moggie's bum?

Lol Graphicali! You are right! That is so funny again, it shows the beauty of having someone else look at it...
I am surprised my kids did not catch that one! I was trying to connect the cat and the figure, I will change that!
Thank you Friesin, I like (under) meanings and symbols...=)

I very often miss things that are in my paintings. I did have another interpretation of the dots in that maybe they were going from the cat in the direction of the person but that would have been bad. I know - I have cats...

It all makes sense so well but I hate moggies! so that spoils it for me. Nice work otherwise and expressive.

Now just how cool is that. I do live the energetic but dream-like colors, the many exciting patterns and mark-makings, and the general narrative. Wow.

Looks like directly from a children's book (there would even be space for some text).
