trying to push my compositions while maintaining this manic paint frenzy in a somewhat cohesive controlled way without loosing its.... looseness.

I think the picture is to warm as it was taken at five pm with no natural light.

I like the rigid style but also has some nice detail in areas. Nice work!

I have an imaginary "like" button on my desk and I'm pushing the heck out of it right now. :)

I want to say that your work is VERY recognizable as yours.

I have that unsettled feeling with this one as well....like where is it going? Does it need more? Yes...but what does it need? Not sure yet. Time to take some bold chances perhaps. But that is just my personal opinion. You should always listen to your own gut instinct because it is never wrong.

thanks brian. I feel pretty confident that I took some bold chances with this one.

I really like the odd but evocative combination of dramatic values and whimsical colour that I get from this piece. Love seeing the journey as well - it is great to have a dynamic conversation with a painting as it changes!

I'm a fan.

That journey is a sight to behold. IMHO, big improvement in each step, and, maybe out of lack of fantasy, this seems final (and great).
